Ulta Haul! Couture De Minnie Runaway Minnies.

Hi everyone!!!

I'm super excited about today's post. I just  back from Ulta and I bought a few thing to review for you all.
Lets get started!

As soon as I walked into the store I went to look for these. I didn't know this set existed but I thought the packaging was adorable and WAY cheaper than buying the full collection that I will just swatch once and store, so buying the minis was definitely more convenient for me. This set runs for $12.95 and even though it doesn't include Mini Style from the full size collection I'm supper happy with my purchase.

The first color from the set is A definite Moust-Have and it is an almost neon rosy pink with a soft pearl shimmer to it. This color is sooo amazing for summer and I will be wearing this a lot, even though I don't usually wear neons. I applied two coats of it for this picture. The formula of this polish was great and it dried very quickly!

Next on we have Magazine Cover Mouse. This is the polish I wanted the most out of the whole collection. Magazine Cover Mouse is a Liquid Sand and it's honestly one of the prettiest textured nail polishes I've seen so far. This beautiful red polish has a gold and pink shimmer. It was very opaque. I used two coats.

Chic from Ears to Tail is next. This is a bubble gum pink creme with a very soft silver shimmer. I couldn't really capture the shimmer on the pictures though. :(
The formula was alright, it was a bit streaky but also my brush for this polish was damaged so it made it worse. I used three thick coats here.

Last but not least we have Innie Minnie Mightie Bow. This is a beautiful red creme with lighter red shimmer. At first I thought this would be very similar to A spy who Loved me from the Skyfall collection, I didn't really like that one that much, but Innie Minnie Mightie Bow took my breath away. I completely loved it and it doesn't have a gold shimmer at all, so it was very different to what I thought it'd be like.
This polish was a little thick but this made the application easy. I used two coats here but I'm sure I could've gotten away with one coat, even though the shimmer looks better with two.

That was it for this review, I hope you guys liked it and thanks for reading!

Goodnight everyone

Day 23- Caviar nails.

Hi!!

Today's theme for the daily change is caviar nails, and these were HUGE a couple of months back, I haven't really seen much caviar nail art lately, but maybe it's just me. Anyway, I'm glad the challenge is bringing these back because I don't want to be stuck with the set of caviar beads I purchased.

Here's what I created.

The color I used is Can't find my czechbook from the Euro Centrale collection by OPI.

The caviar beads I used were from a set I purchased at Michael's.  It comes with 12 colors and I purchased little bottles were I can mix the caviar beads in.

I used striping tape to create the triangle on my middle finger.
I really like using these caviar beads, hopefully they start trending again, because I got some pretty cool ideas after doing this mani lol.

Okay guys, it's time for me to go. I am suuuuper tired, and have terrible knots on my shoulders due to stress. SO i'm going to try to go to bed and relax a little.
Thank you all for reading my posts, and don't forget to comment any suggestions or polishes you want to see on my blog!

Day 18-Sugar Spun

Hey Everyone!

As you can see I missed yesterday's challenge, this time on purpose. I don't own any 3d items for my nails :c
and I'm not very into them either. haha. Oh well hope you guys can understand.

Today's challenge is Sugar Spun nails, and this is the first time I attempt this.
It was a fun mani to do. I really enjoyed doing it, and did try it again right after finishing the one I'm showing you but not on all my nails.

When I get better at this I will make a tutorial for you guys!

Here's my first attempt. Not proud of it at all, but for sure will have a better mani whenever I do the tutorial for this :}

The colors I used were:

NOPI-All Kendall-ed up.
Mellow Yellow-Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear.
Sinful Colors-Savage.

Thank you guys for reading & Don't forget to follow for more posts

Day 15-Watermarble.

Hi Guys!

Today's challenge was what I was waiting for!!!! Watermabling!!!
I don't really practice water marbling but of course I'll do it for the challenge.

Okay before hand I'd like to state the obvious by saying I'm obviously not great at this but I'm open to constructive criticism, if you have a certain technique or advice on how to minimize the quantity of the air bubbles,  I'd love to see it on the comment box below!

Okay here is my water marble nails

I really liked my pointing and middle finger, my ring finger is awful, i know, i know.
I want to get a few polishes just to water marble, so if you have any suggestions I would love to see them.

The colors I used were:

China Glaze-Designer Satin.
OPI-Honk if you love OPI.
China Glaze-For Audrey.

Hope you guys liked it and once again thanks for reading!

Day 14-French with a Twist.

Hi Everyone!

Today's nail challenge was french with a twist, I had a couple ideas for this mani but this morning I was inspired by one of the girls I follow on Instagram.

Amy from Gotham Polish (@gothampolish on Instagram) had a picture of this mani using different colors. She used Zoya Blair and wet n wild Black creme. It was completely gorgeous and I instantly fell in love with the color combo. I'll make sure to add a picture of hers at the bottom.

The colors I used for the recreation of this mani were:

OPI-Honk if you love OPI.
♥ Wet n Wild-Ebony hates Chris.

The matte top coat I use is Essie's Matte about you.

I hope you guys liked this mani & make sure to check out Amy's blog & Instagram, she has great stuff!

Here's the picture of her mani that I decided to recreate!

As always thank you so much for reading hope you enjoyed!

Day 3-Yellow.

Hi guys!

Today I got a new job so I'll trying my best to continue doing the challenge
Today's color was a hard one, because of the same reasons as orange, I don't wear yellow polish by itself. I didn't own a yellow polish that wasn't neon until Easter when I purchased one at cvs lol.

So I decided to go for something springy and simple. This is what I ended up with :)

I did these cute little flowers only using a double ended dotting tool and three different polishes.
The blue polish used as the base is OPI's Can't find my Czechbook.

The polished used for the flower's petals is Mellow Yellow by Sally Hansen and the center of the flowers was made using Sinful Color's Let's meet.

All I did to create this design was apply a base color then dab four dots touching on the ends to create the petals, when dry I dabbed the center with a smaller dotting tool.
Dot as many flowers as you would like and combine any colors you want!!
This is a very simple and fast nail art design.
Hope you guys liked it and keep coming back for more posts :)

.xo.

30 Day Challenge: Day 1 - Red.

Hey Guys!

Like I said in my previous post I;m going to be doing my best to follow this 30 Day Challenge done by this girl, and she has a link were you can submit your posts, i'll be posting my there as well!!

Okay for today I was going to do strawberry nails but instead decided to use polishes that I don't really get to use other times so here's what i chose!

I used OPI's The Spy who Loved me, this polish came out with the Skyfall collection.
The spy who loved me is a shimmery red crelly (creme-jelly) with some orange undertones.

To top off my nails I added two coats of the 18k real gold top coat by Sephora by OPI.
I really like the way these two colors look together and I don't really get to ever use my gold top coat so I'm glad I have a color I can just go-to whenever I want to wear this.

Here's a macro shot of the nail.. Love the way this red looks!

Hope you guys liked it and hope to have you all checking back every day for a new post :)

Godnight<3

Liquid Sand by OPI ~~

Hello guys!

Today i'll be reviewing this really cool polish called Can't let go, and it's part of the Mariah Carey's collection.
This polish is definitely not like other nail polishes, it might look normal inside the bottle but when you put it on and let it dry it actually dries matte and has a sandy texture.

I love the way this polish feels haha I can't help but feel my nails all the time while wearing this!!
The application of this polish is not hard at all and i didn't really have to use a dabbing technique to get the glitter. I used two coats of the polish in the pictures!

Purple is my favorite color so from the whole collection I had to get this one first, the color is such a true purple. Along with glitter polishes, ths polish is a hassle to take of :[ but i'll be writing a post about a little secret I found out to about to make the removal of these polishes so easy!

You can really tell that the texture in the macro looks way different, I think if i only used one coat maybe I could've gotten a better shot of the sand. Even though my nails definitely feel super sandy!! haha I love this new trend and I've seen a lot of new liquid sand polishes coming out, aside from the Mariah Carey collection you have the Pixie Dust collection from Zoya and there will be a liquid sand polish released in the new " Oz the Great and Powerful" collection.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I look forward to keep writing all these post to you all!
Thank you so much for reading.

work area ^.^

Hello there!

Well i decided before i start posting all the nail art i do & swatches of polishes i've bought, i would show you guys my work area!

Once again i just got into this so I don't need as much space as other people with 600+ nail polishes do lol, this is enough for me and it works so yeah :)

To the left I have a set of minis that I don't really ever use.. and then my nail art brushes.

I had another container with all my cotton balls but my bf just happened to need it for her make up brushes lol so, that's gone. :p

Then my rack but i will get into that later on :)

My nail art wheels and swatches of every color are next to the rack.

Inside the little slots on the base of the lamp I keep my dotting tools, and a brush I use for cuticle oil, and the one i use for cleaning nail polish off my cuticles.

The polishes on the bottom I just cant keep anywhere else lol.

so yeah that's pretty much it, on my next post i'll probably talk about what i do for nail care and before painting my nails!

hopefully this blog thing works out for me and I can get used to it haha, I'm sorry if its not the best but i'll try :3
