NOTD: Easter Nails!♥

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great Easter so far.
I've been dying to post this all day but once again i've been kind of busy, I was busy with Easter celebration, and also doing some yard work :p. Someone had to get rid of the 200 thousand pounds of leaves that completely cover the back yard making it look ugly. My puppy seemed to be amazed by the piles of leaves though. I thought I'd add a picture so I could introduce you guys to Rhea, my 14 mo pitbull.

I promise she was posing for this picture, haha she loves the camera as much as mommy loves taking pictures of her. haha she thought I was cleaning the yard just so she could have fun running and hoping around the leaves.

Okay enough rambling about my baby and getting on to the nails!!! I saw multiple cute nail art designs and I just couldn't wait to bring my idea to life.

Shade.

I was shopping for some Easter stuff and bought these cute purple marshmallow bunnies & chicks, they inspired me to do this look!! It was quite easy even though i'm sure these aren't that great.
Bear with me I am a beginner and this is my first year doing Easter nails!

Flash On.

All I used for this look was A nail art brush, A double ended dotting tool & a few polishes.
On my pointing finger I used Cinderella by Sinful Colors & added some white clouds with White on White by China Glaze.

For my middle finger I used Cotton Candy by Sinful Colors as well. For the eggs I used Polish Addict's Jellyfish 1 & Hard Candy's Gummy Green. The Scattered glitter on the background is Polish Addict's Dr. Franken.

On my ring finger I used Essie's First Date as a base & White on white by China Glaze. For the bunnies ears & nose I used Essie's Muchi Muchi.

Last but not least my pinky finger. I used Mellow Yellow by Sally Hansen & White on white for the rest. Orange acrylic paint was used to create the beak.

I really liked this look and thought it was pretty easy for noobz like me! hehe.

Hope you guys liked it & would love to see some feedback!

Keep coming back for more designs and IMPORTANT:

Polish Addict Nail Mail!!

Hello Everyone!

As you guys know i'm a huge fan of the indie brand Polish Addict, well the amazing Laura Sanchez Sent me this polish for me to review,it goes by the name of "Southern Belle".

Southern Belle is a white crelly base with tons of different kinds of glitters.

 Flash On

The glitters make the white base look a little lilac-ish to me. I was amazed with how great the formula was.
The application was also amazing and no fishing was required, I completely love polishes like that, in my book it gives them an automatic +10 ;).

Shade

Okay now i'm going to talk about the glitters:
This polish is fully packed with orange, blue, white, silver and light blue holographic hex glitters. We also have violet triangles that are also holographic,we have some holo blue diamond shaped glitter,as well as the micro holographic glitter, some medium sized squares and bar glitter!!

I'm so excited to add this polish to my collection, its such a variety of glitter and there's just tons and tons of it. I really recommend you guys to purchase this polish it's definitely a must have!

China Glaze's Avant Garden Collection Swatches.

Hey everyone!

I hope you guys are doing fine today.
I have two colors from the Avant Garden collection by China Glaze.

The first one will be Fancy Pants.

Fancy Pants is a medium toned blurple (blue-purple) with a very bright purple shimmer to it.

Fancy Pants is one of the 12 shades from the Avant Garden collection. I bought mine at Sally's Beauty Supply. The application of this color was quite awesome. Two coats gave me full coverage and the shimmer shows great, just not on camera.

The shimmer was really hard to photograph but you can kind of see it here under the China word. lol
This is the best picture I could get out of like 100 I took.

The second color I have today is Passion for Petals

Passion for Petals is a bright raspberry pink cream polish. I didn't think I would like this color but just in the rush of leaving the store with something I picked it up randomly.

I don't regret buying this polish at all, the formula was good, in the picture I used two coats, I feel like I should've put a third coat.

I might pick up some other colors from this collection later on, but honestly none of them really catch my eye.

If you are a blogger and would like to me check out your page just leave the link on the comment box.
I would love to expand my circle on the blogger nail community!

Don't forget to follow for more reviews & swatches. If there is any color in specific you would like to see leave a comment as well!

Have a nice night. ♥

Glitter Gradient!

Good morning everyone!

Today i'll be sharing a cute and super easy mani :)

For this gradient mani I used the following colors:

  • Essie's Sugar Daddy. Which by the way I consider the best french manicure color, its so perfect.
  • China Glaze's Full Spectrum: I used this color for the finer glitter.
  • Polish Addict's Dr. Franken: Used this for the bigger, chunkier glitters.

This post isn't mean to be a illustrated step by step tutorial because that's just how easy this is!
All you're going to do is apply a base color of your choice, after it dries apply your smaller glitter about half way down on your nail.
When that is completely dry you can go ahead and put the chunky glitter at the very tips of your nails.

The closer to the end the more glitter you need.
I love this type of mani because it's really simple to do and there's also tons of combinations you can do!

I hope you guys give it a shot and come up with great combos!

If you guys are wondering were I purchased these polishes, I got Sugar Daddy at CVS and I got Full Spectrum at Sally's beauty supply and you can get Polish Addicts Polishes at http://www.shoppolishaddict.bigcartel.com/

Emily de molly ~ Dark Crystal.

Hey everyone!

so last week I was browsing to the my favorite indie polish website and found this amazing sooo freaking awesome polish there.
It goes by the name of Dark Crystal and it's a is a 3 free (Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP) nail polish.

This beautiful polish is a black base jelly packed with silver micro holographic glitter.
This is not a linear holo polish.

The application was great opaque in 3 coats!
The formula was awesome, I really love how the glitter is scattered everywhere
I only own two Emily de Molly polishes this one and Warrior Princess which I should be reviewing in a couple of days.

I apologize for not having a sun shot of this, its night time were I live and I was just really excited to post about this! but i'll be adding a picture I got from Llarowe the site I get my Emily de Molly polishes and the link will take you directly to this exact polish which they actual have on sale right now for 11.00 USD.
All credits for the picture go to Emily de Molly

I totally adore this polish and will definitely be wearing it a lot!!

Thanks for reading once again <3333
xo.

China Glaze - Atlantis

This is a polish from the "Specialty Collection" glitters from China Glaze, this polish is honestly breath taking.

Atlantis is a medium blue/teal/aqua jelly base with tons of holographic glitter.
The more coats you apply the bluer the color will appear.

This polish will feel kind of gritty if you don't apply top coat on, however in the pictures I didn't because I was only leaving the polish on while I took the pictures for this post.
Whenever I wear this baby for a while i'll definitely be putting a thick gel top coat.

I took a blurry picture so you guys could see just how strong this holo effect is.
This polish is one of my favorites now! I wish removing glitter wasn't such a hassle or I would wear this all the time.

I apologize for this being the macro shot of the bottle and not the actual nail I totally forgot about it, and remember when I had already taken the polish off. i hope you guys can bear with me.
The application for this polish was easy this is a very sheer jelly with one coat so I used three for the pictures.
Like i mentioned before the more coats the darker or bluer the polish is going to look like.

I wanted to take a sun shot of this polish but today wasn't very sunny outside so i'm just using inside artificial light for it.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and if you're wondering were I got this color from because i've never seen it in stores, I got it from ebay for a cheap 7 bucks :D

I'll catch you guys later, love;
Polish Junkie.

Sinful Colors - Savage

Hello polish junkies!

i'm super happy to say that i'm writing this post from my new laptop :D
All my previous posts were being written from a computer, and I felt like I didn't post as much as i would like to just becauseI get anxious from sitting down in the same spot for a while.
I wanted to ask my parents for a laptop so I could make my blogging experience a little better, but they refused since i've lost many many computers due to viruses, but my mom finally gave in and gifted me her brand new laptop :D okay enough with happy ranting and on to my post.

I went to walgreens in the search of the new "sugar rush" collection, but for the fourth time they were all out.
The staff at walgreens in the place I live are extremely disappointing me. They either have everything misplaced, no tags, refuse to help, or are just plain out of everything all the time.

So I couldn't get my paws on them quite yet, but I picked up a lovely color that I instantly fell in love with.
It goes by the name of Savage and its a really pretty blue-ish teal.

This gorgeous teal looks a little more tealish in real life than the picture, I looked up swatches of this color online and realized i'm not the only one having trouble capturing this beauty's true color.

I feel like this could very much be a summer color, but suits perfectly for the spring, or at least that's my opinion on it.
As you can see this beautiful color dries matte, but however it looks stunning with a shiny top coat as well.

The formula of this polish was amazing, reached full coverage with one coat, however for the swatches I tend to put two coats, so the picture was with two coats on.

I really like Sinful Color polishes for the fact that they are really good quality for how cheap they are!

Now that I have a laptop i'll definitely will be trying to write a little more often and keep showing you guys awesome polishes i come across.

once again thanks for reading me.

Love-polish junkie. <3

Color Club - Halo Hues Collection 2013

Welcome back  :)

The way I usually like reviewing my polishes is with a bottle shot, nails shot, and macro shot.
This time around i'll work things out a little differently.
For each color I will have two pictures, one with flash, one without.
I never really use flash for any of my pictures, since my white light is more than enough for me, but you can see the total beauty of these polishes with flash.

mkay, lets get started.

Beyond...

Beyond is a charcoal grey color with a soft holo to it. I was really excited about this polish since i've never seen a black holographic polish, perhaps my expectations were too high about this one. Beyond's holo is actually pretty weak even with flash, and its definitely the weakest of the whole collection.

Application was easy and smooth.
I thought this color without the holo showing looks really similiar to "secret Admirer" by Sinful Colors.

Kismet...

Kismet is a light lime green holo. I don't really like the color green when it comes to nail polish, this is the only green polish i own aside mint greens.  This polish ended up making me fall in love with it, the color looks way prettier on the nail than it does in the bottle, I thought it looked almost yellowish.

This color's holo was surprisingly pretty strong and really beautiful! I wish i would've taken a sun shot of this because it's just breath-taking.

Cosmic Fate...

Cosmic Fate is an orangey - tan color that carries a really pretty holo with it.
It was really hard for me to actually capture this color because it kinda changes a lot depending on the light.

I actually didn't really want to buy this color and I was planning on just purchasing some of the colors, but i'm glad I did end up getting the whole collection, I ended up liking this color a lot.

Eternal Beauty...

Eternal Beauty is definitely my favorite color from this collection.
Even without the flash the holographic effect is so intense. It's breath taking.

You can see how bright and beautiful this polish is. I will be adding a under sun shot so check back with this post.
I absolutely love this color i've used it three times already (which is a lot for me,believe me) Most of my polishes get swatched once and that's it, not because I don't like them, just because there's too many others to try xD. *\^.^/*

Miss Bliss...

Miss Bliss is a beautiful barbie holo pink! it's a medium toned pink and it's holo it's gorgeous!
As you can see it's holo it's pretty strong but still softer than Eternal Beauty.
I love this color, I think it's really girly and fun ;)

As you can see even without the flash the holo is still pretty bright.
I applied this color on my toes as soon as I got the package and it lasted me for a good two weeks!!

Over the moon...

Over the moon is a light blue holographic polish. This polish' color is bright itself the holo isn't that strong but the color is adorable!

As you can see this color can turn to look a little teal but IRL its going to be more blue than this, my camera just wasn't picking up the color perfectly.

Now, I didn't talk about all these polishes formulas individually because they all share the same formula. My thoughts about the formula is that it's honestly perfect!
It's not too thick or too runny the application for all of these swatches was super easy and smooth.
They are easy to remove and can last a while on your nails depending on your every day activities.

I super recommend you guys to check out the site that I got these from and it was enospring.com
The whole collection cost me $40 USD with free shipping.
I'm not sure if they ship worldwide but i'm sure you could find out on the website.
Shipping was fast and all my polishes got here safe!

So thanks for reading this post I hope you guys enjoyed and keep coming back for more post :)

I'll be doing some nail art posts soon.

.xo.

My Polish Addict by Laura Sanchez Collection.**Part I**

Today i'm going to be reviewing this girl's amazing polishes, I came across this girl on Instagram and saw that she created her own polishes, me being the addict I am I had to get my hands on some of those.

Currently I own 7 polishes by her and I'll list the site you can get them at, at the end of this post :)

The first polish I'll be reviewing is called "Sugar plum fairy"

this is a glitter bomb with a baby pink base I love this color and will surely be wearing this a lot during spring.

There seem to be small blue, lilac and purple hexagonal glitters, and tiny blue, lilac and red glitters. (not so sure just judging by the picture)

The application was great you don't have to fish for glitter at all because come on! you can totally tell this is packed with glitter.
I used three coats in the picture, I didn't use a top coat for this but I'd recommend you to just to even out all the glitter and end up with a smooth surface.

Okay the next polish goes by the name of "Dr, Franken".

This polish is another glitter bomb in a clear base, which I love because of the fact you can apply this over any color you desire!

This is the Swatch of Dr, Franken over Miss Bliss by Color Club.
When applying I'd recommend the dabbing technique because you will get the glitter off if you just brush it on like regular polish.

Dr, Franken is a mix of matte hexagonal glitters, you can find almost every single color in there, such as pink, blue, black, green, yellow, light blue, etc.
No clear top coat has been applied on this picture.

 Next on is "Breaking Dawn".

This polish is a black jelly that contains hexagonal glitters.

This is "Breaking Dawn" over black out by Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear.
The application was easy there's plenty of glitters in the bottle so you are guaranteed to get some of the glitters on the nail first try!
I put two coat of breaking dawn here, and added a shiny top coat.

As you can see the big gold hexagonal glitters have a holographic effect to them and you can also find smaller gold holo glitters.
This polish has definitely jumped to my favorites list!<3

Jellyfish I is next!

I'm honestly so happy I have this polish to talk about because I was obsessed with seeing swatches of this. I always thought that Laura wasn't restocking this anymore, so I wanted to get Jellyfish II but I still preferred this one over it.
Finally one day on Instagram I asked her if she was ever going to have this polish for sale again and she told me she had a few of this left for grab bags but that she'll hold one for me.
I was soooo excited to know this baby was going to be mine.
I absolutely love it and it's one of my top three favorite polishes.

Jellyfish I is a kinda white kinda creamish color base, the formula is good, just apply a top coat to smooth out the surface when your nails are completely done :)
This picture is two coats and a fast drying top coat.

The glitters look almost violet in the picture but they are pink, at least that's what I think, you also have gold and blue glitters everywhere. I just adore this polish!!
